Accenture MDR Quick Start Guide for Illumio Adaptive Security Platform

This quick start guide will help Accenture Security customers configure Illumio Adaptive Security platform to send log collection from the Log Collection Platform (LCP).

 Configuring Illumio Adaptive Security (ASP)

  1. In the Policy Console Engine (PCE) web console menu, navigate to Settings > Event Settings.

  2. Click Add.

    1. Event Settings – Add Event Forwarding page opens.

  3. Click Add Repository.

  4. In the Add Repository dialog:

    1. Enter name of the syslog server in Description field.

    2. Enter the IP address of the syslog server in Address field.

    3. Select UCP or TCP as a Protocol.

    4. Enter port number for the syslog server in Port field. (514 for UDP and 601 for TCP)

    5. Disabled the TLS now.

Note: Currently TLS is not supported for this onboarding and it may support in future.

5. Choose the events that needs to be forwarded.

6. Edit the event forwarding repository you have created.

7. Enable all in Auditable Events and Traffic Events like shown in below screenshot.

8. Click Save.

The default port number for syslog. For TCP, the default port is 601.

Note: The LCP can be configured to listen on a non-standard port, please advise the Accenture Security MDR onboarding team if this is a requirement.
