This quick start guide will help Accenture MDR customers configure SafeNet® DataSecure to send logs to the Log collection Platform (LCP).

Configuring SafeNet DataSecure
The SafeNet DataSecure or KeySecure appliance is capable of generating logs in syslog format.
To enable SafeNet DataSecure to send syslog messages to the collector, follow the steps below.
Login to the SafeNet DataSecure Management console as an Administrator.
Go to the Log Configuration page from Device > Log Configuration > Rotation & Syslog.
Select the following supported Log Name in the Syslog Settings section and click Edit.

4. Then select Enable Syslog.
5. Specify a hostname or IP address of the primary log server (Syslog Server#1), the port on which this log server is listening (514), and the protocol used to send the syslog message, either UDP for syslog servers or TCP for syslog-ng servers.
You can optionally enter an IP address, port, and protocol for a second server. When two servers are configured on this page, the SafeNet DataSecure sends messages to both the servers.
6. Enter Syslog Facility. The default value is local1. You can choose from local0 to local7.
7. Click Save.
8. Repeat steps 4, 5, and 6 to enable syslog for multiple logs.
