Accenture MDR Quick Start Guide for Barracuda Web Security Gateway (WSG)

This quick start guide will help Accenture MDR customers configure Barracuda Web Security Gateway (WSG) to send logs to the Log Collection Platform (LCP).

 Configuring Barracuda Web Security Gateway (WSG)

  1. Login to Barracuda WSG.

  2. On the dashboard, Navigate to Advanced tab and then click Syslog. The Syslog Configuration screen will appear.

  3. Choose option No for Enable W3C logs. (By default, it will be No)

a. In the first table  - Web Traffic Syslog, Enter the IP address of the LCP and Port Number as 514 and click Add.

b. In the second table- Web Interface Syslog,  Enter the IP address of the LCP and Port Number as 514 and click Add.

 Note: In  Web Traffic Syslog, you have to provide the IP address to which device specific syslog data should be sent. In Web Interface Syslog, you have to provide the IP address to which syslog data related to the web interface should be sent. This data logs user login activity and configuration changes made on the appliance.
