Accenture MDR Quick Start Guide for Account creation for Qualys Vulnerability Assessment (VA) Data Import for Accenture MDR

The following steps will you to create an Qualys Vulnerability Assessment (VA) data import account for Accenture MDR with the minimum permission.

  1. Select the Tools option in the left pane of the Customer Qualys manager account screen.

 

2. Select New > User from the menu.

3. Enter the contact details or customer reference point.Note: Username cannot be chosen and will be determined automatically by a combination of company and contact name.

Ensure the below fields are mapped for the user account

  • Choose User Role as Reader from the drop-down menu (readonly minimum permission).

  • Enable both the GUI and API checkbox for allow access to field. 

  • Assign all Available Asset Groups for the user.

4. Select Advanced configuration and disable notification on bottom of the page 

5. ​Contact users will receive the confirmation email with the username and password.
