Accenture MDR Quick Start Guide for Third Brigade™ Deep Security
This quick start guide will help Accenture MDR customers configure Third Brigade™ Deep Security to send logs to the Log Collection Platform (LCP).

Configuring Third Brigade Deep Security
To configure Third Brigade Deep Security to forward event logs, follow the steps below.
Login to the Third Brigade Deep Security Manager console.
In the left pane, go to System > Settings.
On the Notifications tab, under Firewall and IPS Event Notification (from The Agents), check the Forward Firewall and IPS Events to remote host (via Syslog) check box.
In Firewall and IPS Event Notification (From The Agents) section, set the fields as follows.
Hostname or IP address of the host to which logs should be sent. | Specify the LCP IP address |
UDP port to which logs should be sent | Specify 514 |
Syslog Format | Specify Third Brigade Format |
5. In the System Event Notification (from The Manager) section, check the Forward System Events to a remote host (via Syslog) check box.
6. In the System Event Notification (from The Manager) section, set these fields as follows.
Hostname or IP address of the host to which logs should be sent | Specify the LCP IP address |
UDP port to which logs should be sent | Specify 514 |
Syslog Format | Specify Third Brigade Format |
7. Click Save.
LCP Configuration Parameters
Table 1-2: The Third Brigade Deep Security event collector properties to be configured by MDR are shown in the table.

Port Number | 514 | The default port for UDP. |
