Accenture MDR Quick Start Guide for Thycotic Secret Server
This quick start guide will help Accenture MDR customers configure Thycotic Secret Server to send logs to the Log collection Platform (LCP).

Configuring Thycotic Secret Server
Go to Thycotic Secret server console.
Navigate to Administration > Configuration.
Click Edit button.
Check the Enable Syslog/CEF Logging check box. When you do this, three additional text boxes or lists appear as below and enter the corresponding values:
Syslog/CEF Server: IP address of LCP
Syslog/CEF Protocol: UDP
Syslog/CEF Port: 514
5. Complete or configure those controls.
6. Click Save.
LCP Configuration Parameters
Table 1-2: Thycotic Secret Server event collector (Syslog - 5006) properties to be configured by MDR are given in the table.

Port Number | 514 | Default port number for UDP. For TCP, the default port is 601. Note: The LCP can be configured to listen on a non-standard port, please advise the Accenture Security MSS onboarding team if this is a requirement. |
