Accenture MDR Quick Start Guide for Symantec Information Centric Analytics (ICA)

This quick start guide will help Accenture MDR customers configure Symantec Information Centric Analytics (ICA) to allow log collection from the Log collection Platform (LCP).

 Configuring Symantec ICA

  1. Create the API Credential to use the Symantec Information Centric Analytics.

  2. Choose any one of the database utilities installed by the Symantec ICA.

  3. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Bay Dynamics\Database Utilities\ApiAccountUtility

  4. ApiAccountUtility.exe file will help you to create the API username and password.

  5. Use the command ApiAccountUtility.exe <apiusername> <password>

 Note: Read-Only user must be created to access the API.

Replace the <apiusername> <password> in above command with the custom API username and password
