Accenture MDR Quick Start Guide for Symantec Anomaly Detection for Industrial Control Systems
This quick start guide will help Accenture MDR customers configure the Symantec Anomaly Detection (AD) for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) event collector to send logs to the Log Collection Platform (LCP).Â

Configuring ICS Event Collector
To forward event logs to the LCP, the following files need to be configured as required.
Set the syslog server IP address and port.
Go to <install_folder>/symc_ad_industrial/etc/config/log4j.properties
Set log4j.appender.syslog.SyslogHost=<LCP_IP_Address>:514
Enable Syslog Integration. By default, it will be false.
Go to <install_folder>/symc_ad_industrial/etc/config/config.properties
Set SYSLOG.ENABLE = true
Change the syslog update frequency.
Go to <install_folder>/symc_ad_industrial/etc/config/config_internal.properties
Set ALERT_MANAGER.EVENT_LOG_INTERVAL_IN_SECS = 60
LCP Configuration Parameters  Â

Port Number | 514 | The default port for syslog. Note: The LCP can be configured to listen on a non-standard port, please advise the Accenture Security MSS onboarding team if this is a requirement. |
