To facilitate secure communication and align with our best practice, we strongly encourage the use of Transport Layer Security (TLS) between your security devices and our Adaptive MxDR platform for event forwarding.

While we understand that TLS support may not be available on all devices, if your devices do support TLS communication, we recommend utilizing port 6514 for seamless integration.

In some cases, the upgraded version of the device might incorporate TLS support without prior notice. If you come across such a scenario or for further assistance in configuring TLS, we kindly ask you to reach out to your dedicated Adaptive MxDR Service Delivery Lead.

Device Configuration

  1. Login to the CyberX Platform UI.

2.In the left panel, click Forwarding.

3.Click Create Forwarding Rule.

a. In Create Notification, enter a meaningful name for the rule For Example: CYBERHUB_Notifications, and then define rule conditions and actions as shown below:

 

a. For Protocols, select All.

b. For Engines, select All.

c. For Severity, select your desired severity level.

  1. In Actions, click Add, to add a new notification method

 

a. In Action, select an action type from the list the available actions.

Multiple notification methods can be created per rule by adding more than one action.

b. Select Send to SYSLOG Server (CEF Format).

Fill in the following information and click Submit: 

 

  • Host – Syslog server address 

  • Port – Syslog server port 

  • Timezone – Syslog server timezone
