About the Device
Tripwire Enterprise is a security configuration management (SCM) suite that provides fully integrated solutions for policy, file integrity and remediation management.
Organizations can use these solutions together for a full, end-to-end SCM solution, or use its file integrity monitoring or policy management solutions on their own to address today’s pressing security and compliance challenges.
Policy Manager as a standalone solution assures continuous compliance. But as part of Tripwire’s SCM suite, it reduces the attack surface through enterprise-wide system hardening of file systems and desktops as well as network devices and databases, across numerous platforms and protocols.
File Integrity Manager solution that checks across large heterogeneous environments and provides instant visibility into key configuration vulnerabilities to assure system integrity across the enterprise. It increases operational efficiencies by reducing configuration drift and unauthorized change.
Remediation Manager, an add-on component for Tripwire Policy Manager, provides guidance to security and compliance teams to repair drifted, misaligned security configurations while retaining role-based management, approvals and sign-offs for repairs.

To facilitate secure communication and align with our best practice, we strongly encourage the use of Transport Layer Security (TLS) between your security devices and our Adaptive MxDR platform for event forwarding.
While we understand that TLS support may not be available on all devices, if your devices do support TLS communication, we recommend utilizing port 6514 for seamless integration.
In some cases, the upgraded version of the device might incorporate TLS support without prior notice. If you come across such a scenario or for further assistance in configuring TLS, we kindly ask you to reach out to your dedicated Adaptive MxDR Service Delivery Lead.
Device Configuration
Enter Tripwire Enterprise Server address in web browser https://<ipaddress/hostname:port>.

Login with admin credentials.
In Log Management settings, you can configure Tripwire Enterprise to forward all new TE log messages via TCP to a syslog server
In Manager, click Settings
In System folder, click Log Management
Edit the log management settings as mentioned below:
