Device Configuration

To configure Auditing feature in Azure Devops

  1. Log in to your organization (https://dev.azure.com/{yourorganization}).

  2. Click Organization settings.

  3. In Security, select Policies.

  4. Enable Log Audit Events to On.

To Configure an Event Grid Topic in Azure

  1. Log in to the Azure Portal.

  2. Search for and access Event Grid.

  3. Locate Topics under Custom events.

  4. Click + Create.

  5. Select your Subscription and Resource Group. Provide a name (For example, DevopsAuditLog) and select the region. Click Review and create.

  6. Access the new Topic and copy the Topic Endpoint URL.

  7. Navigate to Settings > Access Keys and copy Key 1.

To Configure Azure Devops Log Stream to Event Grid

  1. Log in to your organization (https://dev.azure.com/{yourorganization}).

  2. Click Organization settings.

  3. Select Auditing.

  4. Navigate to Streams and select New stream > Azure Event Grid.

  5. Enter the Topic endpoint and Topic Access key created in Configure an Event Grid Topic in Azure.

To Configure a Webhook in Azure DevOps for Google SecOps

  1. In the Azure Portal, search Event Grid.

  2. Select previously created Topic.

  3. Navigate to Entities > Event Subscription.

  4. Click + Event Subscription.

  5. Provide a descriptive name (e.g secopsIntegration).

  6. Select Endpoint Type as Web Hook and add Web Hook URL to Endpoint. (Web Hook URL provided by Adaptive MxDR Service Delivery Lead)

  7. Click Delivery Properties and configure the following:

    1. Header 1: X-goog-api-key

    2. Value 1: API_KEY (API_KEY will be provided by Adaptive MxDR Service Delivery Lead)

    3. Header 2: X-Webhook-Access-Key

    4. Value 2: SECRET_KEY generated on webhook. (SECRET_KEY will be provided by Adaptive MxDR Service Delivery Lead

Secret should be marked as true

  1. Click Create.

  2. After creating the Event Subscription, a validation JSON message will be sent to Google Chronicle for verification.
    Adaptive MxDR Service Delivery Lead shall complete the validation within 10 mins. Once the validation is successful, the log flow will begin.
