AWS VPN

About the Device

WS Client VPN provides a fully-managed VPN solution that can be accessed from anywhere with an Internet connection and an OpenVPN-compatible client. It is elastic, and automatically scales to meet your demand. Your users can connect to both AWS and on-premises networks.

There are two types of VPN, viz: site to site VPN refers to the connection between your VPC and your own on-premises network. Site-to-Site VPN supports Internet Protocol security (IPsec) VPN connections. On the other hand client VPN is a managed client-based VPN service that enables you to securely access your AWS resources from any location.

With this collector, we are supporting client VPN only. Site to site VPN is natively supported using services like cloudwatch, cloudtrail and trusted advisor, which we are not supporting with this collector.
