Accenture MDR Quick Start Guide for Proofpoint TRAP

This quick start guide will help Accenture MDR customers configure Proofpoint TRAP to allow log collection from the Log Collection Platform (LCP).

Configuring Proofpoint TRAP 

In order to generate an API Key, then proceed with the following steps:

  1. Login to Proofpoint TRAP console.

  2. Navigate to System Settings > Customization > API Keys

  3. Click on (+) icon next to API Keys heading

  4. Provide the name of your application and check the Enabled checkbox

  5. Click Save

  6. After you have saved, Threat Response will generate the API Token and add it to the API Keys table.
